How long does it take to get our masjid live on Athan+?
Most masjids are live the same day they sign up. Once you create your Masjidal account and enter your prayer times and masjid details, your masjid appears on the app's nearby-masjids screen immediately.
Do I need any technical staff to manage this?
No. Anyone on your team can update prayer times, post announcements, or send push notifications through the Masjidal dashboard. It's designed to be as easy as using email.
What's the difference between the free plan and Premium?
Free plan gets your masjid listed with prayer times, iqamah countdowns, address, directions, and remote content management — everything congregants need to stay on top of prayer times.
Premium adds push notifications, floating donate button, event integration, announcement slides, custom masjid branding, and includes Al-Iqamah Professional (TV signage) at no extra cost.
Do our congregants have to download a new app?
They download Athan+ from the App Store or Google Play once — the same app millions of Muslims already use for prayer times. Your masjid then appears in the app for them (and anyone in your area), so they don't need a separate app for your masjid.
How does the donation feature work?
You link your existing donation platform (Masjidal's Donations, your website, or a third-party service) to the app's donate button. Masjidal charges no commission or processing fees on donations — you keep whatever your payment processor allows.
Can we send push notifications to our congregants?
Yes, with Premium. Send announcements, event reminders, iqamah changes, or campaign updates — right to every congregant's phone. No email list or WhatsApp group needed.
Can we customize the app with our masjid's logo and colors?
Yes, with Premium. Your masjid's logo, name, and colors appear prominently in the app when a congregant views your masjid page. This is done through the dashboard — no design work required from you.
What happens if we already use Al-Iqamah for TV signage?
Athan+ Premium already includes Al-Iqamah Professional at no extra cost — one dashboard controls both your TV signage and mobile app. If you're already on Al-Iqamah, upgrading to Athan+ Premium is essentially just adding the app tier for the same team, same content, same everything.
